This branding project was my first experience of creating a brand from scratch and it was very fun to make my ideas be put into a real life context of what one brand could become.

This cafe located in the downtown of Montreal offers a warm rustic atmosphere to enjoy high-quality coffee, delicious baked goods, as well as scrumptious breakfast and lunch options. Beyond being a haven for coffee aficionados and foodies, Cozy Cafe provides an inviting space for students, professionals, and anyone seeking a comfortable environment to work or host intimate gatherings and brand collaborations.
My creative journey involved crafting a brand from the ground up within a specific industry. I had to delve into what makes the industry unique, understanding their target audience, and analyzing existing visual identities. Armed with that new knowledge and my own creative thinking, I went through the process of crafting multiple visual options that truly represent the essence of the assigned company. From logo designs to color schemes, every detail was carefully considered to resonate with the intended audience.

relish a delightful meal, work comfortably,
or enjoy intimate gatherings.

For the design execution, my logo drew inspiration from the cozy ambiance of Montreal cafes, evoking a rustic and inviting atmosphere. Warm tones and natural elements were incorporated into the design to reflect the comforting and welcoming vibe of the café.
The choice of a sans serif typeface with rounded edges further enhances the feeling of friendliness. With simplicity and authenticity as guiding principles, the logo endeavors to capture the essence of the café experience, inviting customers to immerse themselves in its cozy charm. The “o” in the word serves as a visual element of coffee beans for the logo.
