little red door

Little Red Door is a cocktail bar situated in Paris' vibrant Marais district and this spot is known for its sustainable bar practices and iconic red entrance.

Little Red Door required a revamping of their current brand identity to spotlight its farm-to-glass concept, connecting producers and cocktail-makers. Simultaneously, the aim was to elevate its corporate image to one exuding luxury and sophistication, leaving a lasting impression. In refreshing the brand identity, the focus extended to finding promotional methods that would effectively showcase the innate quality of the redesigned brand.

design thinking

Throughout the project, I found inspiration in the door as a visual icon. When choosing colors and typography, I aimed to create something vibrant yet sophisticated, capturing the luxurious ambiance of this urban nightlife hotspot.

design making

The logo for Little Red Door draws inspiration from the iconic entrance of the cocktail bar in Paris, renowned for its vibrant red hue. Its design incorporates elements reminiscent of French doors, including shapes typically found on their panels. Additionally, the logo subtly represents the word "door" in an abstract manner. Versatile in its application, it can stand alone as a striking pattern or make a bold statement, symbolizing the gateway to an evening of enjoyment, offering quality drinks and lively conversation.

This branding project was a long but enjoyable experience of rethinking an existing brand. It was fun to use my imagination to reinterpret the brand from a personal perspective and revamp it to reflect my vision as both a designer and a consumer.
